Colin’s birthday is the perfect Valentine/Birthday combo...
a double shot of
cupid and cake...
followed by a confetti chaser.
It's a combo so legendary
we call it
Colintine’s Day.
Colin is our middle child…
smack dab
in the center of these siblings
a classic.
Middle children are often labeled with unfavorable stereotypes..
which do NOT apply to Colin….
The forgotten child-
Nope. Not this guy. Remember he’s legendary...
The easily angered child-
Colin never met anger. Who dat?
An inferiority complex-
Haha Inferiority? That’s funny. Still laughing.
Colin asked to do a reading
at his First Communion.
He was either spiritually moved or
wanted the podium.
The Class clown
But if "Middle Child" stereotypes were…
creative, clever, talented, fun…
sweet, nice, thoughtful
and loving and caring to his mother...
all would apply to him.
Personally, I don’t think he's had it that bad being
stuck in the middle…
at least he didn’t have to wear Chelsea’s hand me downs…
but you would have to ask him.

Over the years,
Colin has not only brought music to my ears
but also to my heart.
I have loved sharing the gift of music with him through the years…
sitting with him in his room
while he played me his favorite bands...
to his Dear Havanah Band in Boston…
to his time on the road with Dustin Lynch…
to the music he has written
as a songwriter in Nashville
to the imprint Colin has written on my heart.
Our connection is priceless...
and Colin continues to
pour his heart into what he loves…
especially a good margarita.
