Welcome Griffin Paul

 Welcome

Griffin Paul Highland

Born October 3, 2023

The lil big guy...

weighing in at 8 lbs 15 ounces...

a heavy weight contender

totally knocked us out.

Griffin Paul for the WIN.

Congratulations to his

Mama and Daddy and their family of 3.

It was such a beautiful honor and complete surprise

they chose “Paul”

for Griffin’s middle name.

I think PaulA’s pretty special too…

(Glad they went with Paul and not PaulA :)

They say "all good things come in three’s"...

a genie's 3 wishes

the 3 Little Pigs

a hat trick

the 3 Stooges

the Jonas Brothers

Chelsea, Colin, Brianna

and the newest family of 3...

💖The Highland Family💖

Anywhooo…

When your baby,

has a baby,

many thoughts go through your head.

And it certainly did for me….

Wow, I must be old.

But even more so….

remembering back to the day Brianna was born…

holding my sweet Wish in my arms...

looking into her angel face…

feeling that closeness and

feeling my heart swell

with immense love and protectiveness.

And now she’s holding her very own Wish.

Remembering sweet Brianna through the years

and the love and fun she brought PaulA and I.

And knowing she and Christian are  going to experience this

 with their sweet wish.

Griffin has the distinction of being 1st generation

OFD

Originally From Dorchester.

It's for real, folks. It’s a Boston thing.

Colin gave Brianna the nickname

“Boston’s girl”

and now Brianna and Christian have

“Boston’s boy."

He’s wicked cute and

  will be runnin’ on Dunkin’

in no time.

It was only fitting that Griffin’s Birth Day

was on our 42nd wedding anniversary…

a day of LOVE.

He was due in late September,

 but decided that his

Grandparent's 42nd wedding anniversary

would be a grand day to be born.

Thanks, Griffin,

 for making this the Grandest

anniversary ever.

We love you and

are tickled

Baby Blue.

Daisy and The Five

W E L C O M E

Daisy Collins Hyatt

born July 13th

fresh as a Daisy

and

heaven sent.

As you may, or may not, have heard (hahaha)

we had a 3rd grandbaby born this summer.

This blog, however, makes it OFFICIAL.

Ahhh...

Looove the name Daisy.

Baby Daisy has the same name as my grandmother, Daisy,

who was from the town of Chelsea, VT.

Now both Chelsea and her baby Daisy

 are linked to my grandmother

through a precious daisy chain

and I’m sure Gramma is smiling down on them every day.

I have found it funny how after Daisy arrived…

I started noticing daisies on everything…

clothing, jewelry, towels, bedding, you name it...

you can find a daisy on most everything.

I have to restrain myself from buying all things daisies…

besides, what if Daisy prefers roses?

Anywhooo

The meaning of daisy is
purity, innocence, new beginnings, joy and cheerfulness
and Miss Daisy brings it all.

Her light shines bright on her family

bringing joy and happiness...

and melting hearts.

Little squishy Daisy, making our hearts all squishy.

From 4 to 5,

the squad's hearts have expanded

and I've rebranded them....

Daisy and the Five.

Not only does baby girl have the best

mommy and daddy to take care of her...

she is lucky to have her 2 big sissies…

Ansley and Presley,

to watch and learn from.

She has 2 sissies  to

hold her, share her,

love on her

and

kiss on her.

And they have a

real. life. baby doll.

MeMe and Hop look forward to the days ahead

to get to know this precious child.

her likes? her dislikes? her laugh?

is she left-handed like both her sissies?

blue eyes, like Ans?  brown, like Pres?

her fav color?

pink, like Ansley? yellow, like Presley?

cliff hanger

It's amazing how quickly you can fall in love with your

grandbaby.

Daisy is already firmly planted

in the bottom of our hearts

and taken root

and we look forward to watching her grow.

With each day that passes,

we'll be watching her petals unfurl

as she

blossoms into her little person.

With all the love and support that Daisy

will get from her loving family,

she is certain to thrive and flourish.

I’ll try not to overdo the daisy theme with baby Daisy…

but

you can be sure

 I will be saying

"oopsy daisy"

should she spill her milk or

tumble over

cuz I’m corny like that.

We love you

Daisy Collins

I see you winking at me.
