The Presence of Presley

 Happy Whole Hand,

High Five Birthday

to our sweet Presley.

Born on December 6th, the feast of St. Nicolas...

(the inspiration for modern-day Santa)

it’s only natural that this day would give us the gift of Presley.

Of all the Presents …

the Presence of Presley

is by far

the greatest of all.

Presley, or Pretzel, as her Uncle Colin calls her

has the distinction of being the

middle child.

Perfectly placed Presley

is smack dab in the middle of the

Hyatt Sissy sandwich.

                                                                                   yum, yum Presley

And isn’t the middle where you find all the good stuff?

What’s an Oreo without the middle creme filling anyway?

And we love to love her

and let her know that

 she’s pretty special.

As the middle child, Presley has a lot of ground to cover.

Not only is she a Little Sis...

to Ansley

but also a Big Sis

                                                                            to Daisy.

Perfectly Placed Presley,

as the middle child,

is the perfect link, thread and bond

in the Sissy chain.

Anywhoooo…..

There are so many things that make Presley special….

from her rubber rain boots to

her love of music, dance moves and doggies.

Give Presley a roll of tape, scissors, a few markers

and a ream of paper….

and she’s all set.

She can make clothes, castles and kites.

You name it.

Need a new car?

She’ll make you one.

A new puppy on a leash?

She's got that too.

All last year when her picture was taken…

she would flash 4 fingers….

so she would “remember how old she was in the pic”.

That will probably help me more than her later.

One of my favs is watching Presley

blow out her candles on her bday cake.

She holds an expression on that beautiful lil face….

that could be described as  either

Modest Delight,

Bashful Glow or

Humble Shine.

Our Sweet P bringing us delight, glow and shine

with every year.

The Presence of Presley

will always live

 smack dab in the middle

of our hearts.
